We are now fast approaching the last quarter of 2009 and with the global economy on the steady slope to recovery; we here at PEACH also wish a more fruitful final quarter before we welcome the New Year. We hope that the year 2010 will be a continuing uptrend and a rewarding year for the MICE industry, especially at PEACH.

This month we are pleased to extend a very warm welcome to the local and international delegates of The 6th - SICOT/SIROT Annual International Conference (29th October to 1st November 2009) here at PEACH.

SICOT, Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie, is an international non-profit association incorporated under Belgian law with the aim to promote the advancement of the science and art of orthopaedics and traumatology at international level in particular for the improvement of patient care, and to foster and develop teaching, research and education. This year, SICOT will celebrate its 80th anniversary at PEACH, and we at Royal Cliff Beach Resort aim to make it a memorable event for all the delegates attending this year's conference.

Finally, we are approaching close to welcoming the 48th Oriental and South East Asia LIONS Meeting 2009 (OSEAL 09), which will be held at PEACH from 19th until 22nd November 2009. There has been a lot of preparations and work behind the scene to ensure that a smooth world class event is delivered to the thousands of LIONS delegates arriving here for their annual meeting.

On 14th September 2009, Japanese company AP Honda held its’ 2009 Honda Motor Worldwide Premiere Launch & A.P. Honda New Model Launching. The event was witnessed by Mr.Koichi Kondo, HM, Executive Vice President of Honda Group and Mr.Zenjiro Sakurai, President of A.P. Honda Co.,Ltd. Some 1500 Honda representatives from all across Thailand attended this prestigious event.

A press conference was later held at Royal Cliff Beach Resort to announce the launch of 2 Honda new motorcycles that are being introduced here in Thailand. Representatives from the Honda company presented the new Honda Scoopy I and Honda PCX models to the media. These new models would be made available at all Honda showrooms by end of September 2009.

To celebrate the event in style and to end the day, a fun filled entertaining dinner party was held in the evening at PEACH for all the Honda representatives and press that attended the launch. At the party, along with activities relating to the newly launched models that were being displayed, there were various booths with exciting themes and colourful decorations on show. It was a long one-day event for the AP Honda representatives, but surely a very satisfying experience as waves of smiles were seen as the night fizzled out.
