The year 2008 is coming to a close. It was a memorable year for PEACH. We hosted many events, culminating in our expansion launch having been graciously presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolrat Ratchakalya Siriwattana Pannawadi on 22nd Nov 2008.

It was a remarkable evening, themed “Glamour and Glitter Night”. Attended by many distinguished guests, including government officials, foreign ambassadors, well known personalities active in MICE and numerous VIPs in industry and professional organizations, the gathering lived up to its name in Glamour.

Her Royal Highness and the nearly 800 guests enjoyed a program filled with fascinating dance and singing performances. Ending with a spectacular display of fireworks, many said it was a night to be remembered.

As we look back at the year at PEACH in 2008, we can say that all activities were successful as a result of the enthusiasm, dedication and hard work of all involved. Perhaps our most important event, the LIONS INTERNATIONAL DGE 2008, attended by LIONS District Elect Governors from around the world ended with very positive remarks from all LIONS members, including LIONS International President Mr. Al Brendal.

Other memorable events included a traditional Indian Wedding that saw PEACH transformed into a glorious celebration for the bride, groom, their families and guests. Annual events that took place at PEACH on a yearly basis have and always been important to us and we hope with the recent expansion of PEACH will be an advantage for their future events here.

For the year 2009, we are looking forward to a positive growth especially with the added facilities at PEACH. The earlier political (friction or turmoil or disagreements or conflicts) are being resolved and the MICE industry as in the past has shown resilience to bounce back after difficult times. Pattaya will, in 2009, once again take its place as an preferred destination for major conferences and meetings.

PATTAYA EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION HALL EXPANSION LAUNCH AT THE ROYAL CLIFF BEACH RESORT

Pattaya, Thailand – HRH Princess Ubolrat Ratchakalya Siriwattana Pannawadi graciously presided over the official launch of the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) Expansion Ceremony on November 22, 2008. Marking the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, the PEACH expansion now makes the convention center the second largest meeting venue in Thailand, placing it squarely on regional and global agendas. PEACH was officially inaugurated by HE Gen. Prem Tinsulanonda in November 2000. The “Glamour and Glitter” reception brought together leaders in government, tourism, business and professional organizations to celebrate both the 35th anniversary of the Royal Cliff and the PEACH Expansion Launch. A dazzling event, reflecting the 5-Star luxury standard maintained by the Royal Cliff Beach Resort for decades, the guests was served with the finest quality food and beverages in the hall lavishly decorated with specially designed ice sculptures as the centerpiece for the cocktail reception. Nearly 800 guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet feast, crafted by Royal Cliff’s own culinary experts surrounded by masterpieces of giant ice carvings and floral decorations followed by a program filled with fascinating dance and singing performances enjoyed by Her Royal Highness and all the guests. Ending with a glamorous Champagne farewell and spectacular display of fireworks, many said it was a night to be remembered. There were also performances by stars in the entertainment industry as well as multi-media presentations, light shows and fireworks. The evening climaxed with a moving tribute to HRH Princess Ubolrat’s To Be Number One program, which focuses upon positive alternatives for teenagers at risk, which is also aligned with the Royal Cliff Beach Resort mission statement in being the number one in the hospitality industry. The Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) is a world-class multipurpose exhibition and meeting facility of the award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort offering complete versatility and flexibility. After the expansion, PEACH now has 6-levels, including a pillar-less hall of 6,943 m2 which was 4,851 m2 before. The convention and exhibition hall accommodates up to 8,000 persons theatre-style or 3,640 for banquets. TPI POLINE HELD THANK YOU PARTY FOR CUSTOMER AND DEALER AT THE ROYAL CLIFF BEACH RESORT

Pattaya, Thailand – TPI Poline recently hosted its traditional year-end Thank You Party for their customers and dealers at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH),a world-class facility of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort. The Company is principally engaged in the manufacture and supply of cement, ready-mixed concrete and LDPE/EVA plastic resin, as well as other businesses through associated companies for the manufacture and distribution of ammonium nitrate and nitric acid, steel products and the provision of life insurance services, etc. The event took place from the 17th to 18th of October, Khun Prachai Leopairat, CEO of TPI Poline welcoming 1000 participant. Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), with its extensive meeting space, proved a perfect fit for such a large-scale event. 30th ANNUAL MEETING OF THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS OF THAILAND

Pattaya, Thailand – The Royal Cliff Beach Resort was recently the venue for the 30th Annual Meeting of The Royal College of Orthopedic Surgeons of Thailand which was held at the Resort’s world-class meeting facility - Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) - from 22 to 25 October. The RCOST is the professional organization which supports the education and development for orthopaedic surgeons with the aims for superior efficiency, great services to society as well as leadership in Asia. A technical exhibition held in conjunction with the meeting at PEACH Hall B, C and D. It is open to medical and surgical manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and scientific book-sellers. Followed by sports activity at Royal Cliff Sport & Fitness Club also Running Activity and the Religious Ceremony on the last day.

AUTO ALLIANCE (THAILAND) HAS HELD YEAR 2008 AAT & SUPPLIER CONFERENCE AT PEACH
