Over 1000 members of the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand (RCPT) recently gathered for their 30th Annual Meeting at Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) from April 23-26, 2014.
This year's conference theme is "From Bench to Bedside and Beyond" which pertains to “the application of knowledge to practice” as the rapid development of basic science has resulted to recent findings having an impact on clinical practice. The event encompassed an intensive program including workshops, plenary sessions, case seminars and dinner symposiums. A Meet the Experts session as well as landmark studies of breakthroughs in internal medicine and its sub specialties proved to be also popular with the participants.
Throughout the exciting three-day event, the huge exhibit halls, lobbies and meeting rooms of PEACH were filled with impressive exhibitions from various pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of medical equipment and products featuring the latest, cutting-edge innovations in the medical world. The meeting brought together talented and skilled medical professionals from all over Thailand who also took part in an annual convocation ceremony as well as a presentation of the honorific distinguished internist’s awards to its deserving members.
