Dear friends,

As I mentioned in my last message, we anticipated a good year and I am happy to say that what was envisaged is happening; and we are looking forward to the next few months for more challenges and successes.

Our presence at IMEX Messe Frankfurt was productive, as we had the opportunity to further introduce Royal Cliff Hotels Group repositioning statement, as a 'one hotel group' with a distinct and unique identity. In addition, our determination to establish new contacts with emerging markets and to re-establish associations with supporting contractors and industry players was a success during this meet. We joined Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and entrepreneurs from other agencies in the Thai MICE market to promote Thailand's MICE campaigns and at IMEX, reiterated to the world that Thailand is a dynamic business event destination, by highlighting the unique strengths and attractions that have made it a popular MICE destination worldwide.

We also took into consideration the need to cater to the various patrons of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and this prompted the management to come up with a highly welcomed initiative for the benefit of all Muslim travelers; to become a certified HAL-Q establishment. With the availability of the Halal Kitchen, an additional form of food selection will be available at Royal Cliff Hotels Group; which we believe will be highly welcomed by the Muslim community and which will further support the Muslim business for the hotels group.

We were happy to welcome the delegates of the Islamic Bank of Thailand for their 'IBANK – Get Together' where more than 2,300 delegates converged at PEACH. It was also heartening to see that our newly established Halal Kitchen was appreciated by the delegates most of whom were of Muslim faith. And, once again it was wonderful to welcome more than 2000 delegates of Network 21 International Go Diamond 2011, for their business meet at PEACH.

You will be happy to note that our IPTV system will be up and running at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group by July end, which we hope will be an added benefit for our business and leisure guests alike.
