A press conference took place at the Peach Conference room, Royal Cliff Beach Resort Pattaya by Mr. Witthaya Khunplome mayor of Chonburi Provincial Administration Organization, Mr. Nit Kongkrut director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand region 3, Khun Raywat Thongsong president of Thailand's Eastern Seaboard Food and Beverage Association, Chef Somsak Puengmuang president of the Chef's Association of Pattaya and Eastern Seaboard on the upcoming Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo 2009 event that will be held here in Pattaya.

This year is already the third year that the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo will be held and with all the involved associations and departments working together; it is beleived to become another of the very successful annual events.

The purpose of the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo 09 is to enhance the food and beverage industry and advance the services of "hoteliers" in Pattaya and the eastern seaboard professionally and upgrade it to be known internationally.

In the event there will be competitions held for food, beverage, and other services by chefs and staff of many hotels that are participating. There will also be booths to introduce various food and drinks, equipments used in the hotel and restaurants by distributors of more than 60 leading companies. All this will be displayed at the Peach Conference room, Royal Cliff Beach Resort Pattaya from 1030am - 6.30pm throughout the 27th - 29th August 2009.

The more special and colorful event of this year is an additional bonus of "Pattaya Food on the Beach Show 2009" where there will be hundreds of stands along beach road Pattaya Soi 2 - Soi 6 with plenty of food and drinks and fantastic performances to catch the attention of local residents and tourists from 6pm until midnight.
